Hotpoint SDW 60 dishwasher error

Hi,

I am looking for some help with my dishswasher. The water has not drained properly and the lights are rapidly flashing.

It started with all lights flashing but when switched off and on, it has settled on the pre-wash and drying lights only. The 7th and 10th green lights from the left. Nothing is mentioned about these lights in the manual and online searches are not proving fruitful!

I’ve tried killing the power and reseting, removing the filter and have now scooped the water out of the bottom, but nothing makes a difference.

Any help would be appreciated

I don’t have fault codes for that machine to hand but, at a guess, I’d be looking at the drain pump for either a failure or a blockage.

Is that something that is eaisily fixed DIY, or a job for a pro?

If you have to ask that question I would advise getting one of the repairers to come sort it for you. 😉

They’re not the easiest of things to get into.
