Hotpoint SDW60

    Need Help.

    Have just been out to a SDW60. Fault found to be the Eco light keeps flashing, had a look at the Error Codes book, Have checked the base no
    water, checked the motor thats working o/k inlet valve o/k.

    If i turn the power off and then restat the dish washer, b/4 i have time to pick a prog (it flashs Eco and all the time the pump is runing.

    The Float Switch in the Base Tray has closed for at least 9 seconds
    Normally leaking water into the base tray causes this Fault Code.
    If the base tray is dry, check the float movement is free and the float switch is operating
    correctly.
    Other possible causes: –
    If the machine has a turbidity sensor, the connector pins maybe damaged or damp
    (wet), or the wiring shorted.
    If the machine has an Extra Option Button Card the wiring between the option card
    and the Bit100 card could have shorted or the connector pins damaged.

    Yes i have checked the float switch thats o/k, i will take your advice on the P.C.B unit and check out the blocks and the wiring

    could also be the wirring harnesss have had this one befor withh that model 😀
