ParticipantHello,
I am currently trying to get some support from Hotpoint, via the phone for this issue, but just wanted to see if this is a common problem with this dishwasher.
Yesterday, the dishwasher was filling for its rinse cycle, but would not stop filling. Water started to spill past the door splash seals and over the kitchen floor!!. I isolated the water supply, and reset the dishwasher to force a drain cycle. I then started a new wash cycle, and monitored the unit closely. It performed faultlessly for the next cycle.
I am guessing that a pressure switch is probably at fault, but wanted to see if anyone else had seen this model, or similar models fail so early on into their life.
Many thanks in advance,
James

Its 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Indesit, anything is possible, a long way from the best quality on the market sadly. 😥

Having had a read of some of the other Indesit/Hotpoint posts you have responded to, I am beginning to get that feeling. Thank goodness I opted for the three year warranty!!. I thought the hotpoint was a step up from the abysmal Candy affair I had previously, which lost the ability to heat water after a year and had a failed pressure sensor after 9 months.
Wish I had just pushed the boat out a bit further and opted for a Bosch!!
