Hotpoint SE89PGX single oven

This oven has a led screen clock & temp settings….
called today customer tells me when oven is heating it somtimes cuts out & the led temp reading resets to clock settings..
It is a intermittent fault as it didnt happen when I was there.
I feel it is either a thermal cut out problem if fitted although the cooling fan is ok & no sign of overheating prob..or a pcb fault !!
any advice would be appreciated. thanks John.

I have a recollection this oven is one of the Ariston Forno’s yes/no
The last one of these I had cutting out was down to a faulty potentiometer (one of the controls) worth trying as its cheaper than the PCB/timer
