A member of the public who has posted in the past and contacted me by e-mail on several occasions ( he refurbs old Hotpoints as a hobby ) 😯
has just sent me a message with a few queries.

He also mentioned that he had just been outbid on Fleabay for a Hotpoint Service CD ROM.

I am not sure just exactly what this CD ROM is supposed to be, I have never heard of such a thing. Did they ever have an in house service manual CD ROM?

I wondered if some smart arse was flogging off an old copy of Fastrak or Partfinder.

I had a look as I was logged in there anyway and all I found was a half dozen unofficial CD manuals (possibly written by the vendors) some specifically for how to do WMA bearing changes and a couple of manuals for WM and WMA machines generally. Looking at photos they seem to be well written and if anyone was just starting up would be excellent value, I’d think, at £3.99/£5.99 each incl. P&P.
Gonna have another look and see if there’s any for Zanussi, might be something a bit easier to digest than the official manuals.
    Mike.
