Hotpoint Spray Arm

The upper spray arm on our hotpoint df61 has fallen off but I can’t work out how it is attached to the rest of the machine.

We ordered a new part (506 on their diagram) but it won’t click onto the bit at the back of the machine (507) – any ideas ?

Hi Mark.

It doesn’t clip to the back of the dishwasher, the upper spray arm fits to the underside of the upper basket.

When the basket is pushed in and the door closed it pushes up against the water outlet at the rear.

That makes sense and probably means we’ve wasted our money on the spare part.

I’ll be popping downstairs to fix it in a minute.
