Hotpoint STF200WP fridge freezer not cold

Hi,

I have a hotpoint fridge freezer model number stf200wp which over the past few weeks I have noticed that the fridge and the freezer are not as cold as they use to be.

By this I mean the ice cream in the freezer is quite soft and other stuff in the freezer is frozen but not as hard/frozen as they use to be.

I have the temperature dials at the top of the fridge set to high for both the fridge and the freezer.

I have tried de frosting the freezer, so turned it off and left it for a day then turned it back on again, but this did not work.

Is there any parts that I could possible look at to see if they are not working correctly if so is there anyone who can explain to me what to do or have any locations of videos to follow.

I hope someome can help me, or maybe someone has had similar problem.

You may not have defrosted for long enough.

You need to turn it off for 48 hours / 2 Days with the doors open to allow it to fully defrost.

This should cure the problem if not let me know and I will advise

Defrosted for 3 days and all seems to be working ok for now, I will let you know if I get any further problems.
