Hotpoint sticks on last minute

Hotpoint WF740G
Customer tells me the count down timer sticks on 1 minute from the end on
Programme “F” which is “non fast colourds”,
Any ideas ❗

Check the motor plug & loom, had a couple
sticking on the last 1-2 mins

Could also be loose connection to heater!

I was expecting a electricl problem but
checked the sump even doe it was emptying o k
It was full of bits all around the ball, must of been jamming the ball from droping,
Thanks I was expecting a bigger problem

Stuck on 1 minute usualy short or open circuit heater.
