hotpoint sutcd97b6gm belt

hi i fitted a standard hpt condenser belt on this model however i noticed it now has a sprung loaded motor a few month later i got a call back
the belt had come off i re -fitted it but it came off again so i suspect its the wrong belt, after checking it needs a 1965h7 could it be this is a non stretch belt
any help appreciated thanks john

it will be non stretch as it uses a spring tensioner

sounds like you have the same one I got yesterday part no C00313102

check the idler pulley is ok. If its the black one and it fails you have to replace the complete motor so I am going to add a drop of oil on the one I have

wrong yours is the 7 rib version of the same size belt
