hello, can you help, we have a hotpoint swd60.
The eco light keeps flashing and so does the salt light.
Does this sound like a base plate leak?
if so how is it rectified?

Left to right (or from top to bottom), would you please tell us the number of the lamps lit?

Base leak is easily detected – pull plug, lean machine back (towels down). If you get water, you’ve got a leak…….

it’s from left to right, third light in is eco light and 5th light in is prewash light which also flashes.

we have tipped the dishwasher and yes water has tipped out but once drained it still doesn’t work.

Sounds like engineer time, lights 3+5 suggest a circulation pump fault,

Could be, faulty motor, capacitor or control module.

Please remove the mains plug if you intend to go further, remember that if the machine is under 5 years old you are covered by the manufacturers five year parts warranty.
