    HELP!!
I have a tc71p condenser dryer, the drum wont turn round, any ideas?
I have a breakdown of the parts, is it the belt?
If so, how do i replace it.
    Thanks
    Mark..

After you have removed the plug, take the top off. If it is the belt that has failed it will be obvious. Other causes range from faulty motors, capacitors, timers to wiring faults etc.

For safety reasons we cannot go into chapter and verse regarding dismantling, save to say it is quite a difficult belt to replace, even for the experts.

    Thanks for the reply.
Do you suggest leaving it to the experts then?

I would recommend that course of action. Have you checked to see if the belt has snapped ?

It is not a very expensive part, so it should not be a major expense to have it repaired, it is just an awkward job.

Check on the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help you.

    Morning
I have taken the sides of the tc71p condenser dryer, and there is the belt,
on the bottom of the machine, snapped. I have therefore, ordered a new one, quite cheap (£12.00) What sequence of events do i take to put a new one back on, I have my own thoughts, but you are the experts.
    Thanks

As Iadom has already mentioned, we can’t walk you through the repair for legal and safety reasons, needless to say, allow plenty of time 😉

    Dave.
