    having difficulty fitted a new belt, managed to get belt onto drum, but couldnt manage to get over the pully wheel, I used a couple of screwdrivers to lift over pully but damaged the pully wheel..obviously I am doing it wrong !! can anyone please advise me as to the correct way to fit please John.

    Why not have a good read of THIS thread.

    Lots of varied suggestions in it. 😀

    I often use the old belt to pull the new one over the pulley, it also helps to remove the fan cowling and front fan to access the bolts that secure the pulley.

    I’m guessing that this machine is a TCD970G. 😉

    Iadom, yes I put 6 instead of G.
