Hi all, my Hotpoint condenser dryer is leaking from the front underneath when running, it’s not a massive amount as most still ends up in water tray up top, the theming that you pull out of bottom has been cleaned, I put my hand all the way through where it goes and got a little fluff at back but still I have this leak. Any advice is appreciated.

It’s not in a cold room or outbuilding is it?

Not familiar with the machine at all, just going for the obvious. 😉

No it’s in my kitchen, it’s only a year or 2 old, it appears it’s coming from where the condenser tray slides into, so maybe something to do with where water is pumped from up to top tray I don’t know

Okay, could well be the pump then as these are fairly common to be used:

I can’t be absolutely sure that’s the issue obviously but, it’s a fair bet. 😉

If the pump was faulty then no water would get into the water container at the top. Leaks usually caused by failing to clean the condensor on a regular basis.

The small hole at the very back of the condensor chamber can get partially blocked and is not easy to get at to clean. I sometimes use a large plastic bag tie to poke through the hole into the float chamber.
