    Hi i went to a hotpoint tcl770g td yesterday which was completely dead. I checked that power was getting to main pcb which it is, then checked that the fascia pcb switches were being pushed by the buttons ok. Does anyone what is causing this problem? thanks for any help Peter 🙂

    check the thermostats at the back on top of the heater.

    Really does that cause it to be dead with no lights or response? 😳 I wanted to check the heater and stats but i ran out of time and didn’t think they would cause this fault. Thanks Suedehead 🙂

    yeah later models ran the neutral to the pcb through the toc

    quite common
