    Hi
My TDC30 dryer is working but with only a little heat, from reading other posts I think it may be the thermostat. However my question is if the drying light is still on and I am getting a little heat is it the thermostats or could it be something different i.e heating element?
I just don’t want to buy the thermostat set if it isnt that which is wrong?

Also where are the thermostats located on the dryer?

    thanks in advance

    Unlikely to be thermostats.

Could be heating element, it has two separate elements in the one unit, could also be faulty High/Low heat switch.

The only way to check is with a meggar or multimeter, with the plug removed of course. 😉

Two stats above the element and one inside the door surround. That one can cause poor performance sometimes.

    Jim.

    Thanks Jim
I got a thermostat set to try first as is cheap to buy and fitted it last night and all is back to normal now 😀
Still not sure why i felt some heat in the dryer initially -maybe just a form of latent heat ❓
    thanks anyway
