ParticipantHi,
I have been given a TDC30P condenser drier which has a thermostate fault.I purchased the kit and went to install but the installed stats look like there in the wrong slots.
I know the previous owner has replaced 2 sets of stats and am now concerned that they are indeed fitted wrong.
As you look at the back of the machine the stat on the left has the green spot on it denoting the higher heat rating.
What i need to know is which side does the green spotted stat sit Left or Right ??
Ok lets see if i can get a picture !
Any help appreciated peeps 🙂

The element looks very dodgy, no insulation strips on either side. 😯

Umm good point, I removed the outside one to inspect the elements but there wasn’t one between the machine case and the elements !!!

As a follow up in case anyone has an issue with the Green spotted ONE shot stat popping it’s clogs regularly there is a Cycling stat inside the front door top edge which pops causing the ONE shot to eventually get pulled in because the Dryer overheats.
Replaced the Cycling stat and the rear stat kit (Stat’s 106 & 130 deg) and problem now resolved..

ParticipantW R O N G !
the ‘exhaust sat’ is not a cycling stat
its designed to monitor the exhaust temperature, as a last resort if the cycling stat and one shot fail to operate correctly
its a one shot, your information is wrong and unfounded
please, if your gonna post things like that, ask the question first!
for reference, if the one shot stat pops regulrly, it may well be lack of airflow(blocked condenser/airways, faulty heater, or even a faulty timer.. sometimes its because the customer doesnt allow the coold down cycle on the timer
