I have recently replace the thermostat and element but was given out puff of smoke (not sure if its fluff), tried it out for the first 30 min which work fine and after coming back to work it has stopped giving heat again.
I already purchased 3 themostat kit and 2 element cause I thought it was one of those two since a lot site mention its on of these but yesterday found out that the front also have a thermostat.
Does the front thermostat relates to the no heating as well? because if this isn’t working then gotta find a engineer after shedding all those parts :bang:
If you don’t have proper electrical test equipment and know how to use them then it is utterly pointless just throwing parts at any machine without first testing them.
There is a front thermostat which can cause no heat, a faulty control timer could also be the cause.
A failing motor capacitor can also lead to early failure of the safety thermostat.
