Hotpoint TDC32P – Not Drying?

Can any one assist ?

I have a TDC32P that has no heat and is not drying.
I have changed the rear thermostats (green Spot) with the appropiate kit.
The drying light is not on. The drum rotates in both directions.

What else could be the problem?

Check the green spot one you fitted for continuity as they can be easily “tripped” if not handled correctly and they don’t reset (one shot device).

Apart from that, there’s another thermostat at the front, it could aslo be the heater or the timer (unlikely).

How can I test the continuity of the Green Spot?

How can I test the heater or timer to know if either of them?

With a test meter, if you don’t have access to one then it’s engineer time to be honest, check the repairs@ link below 😀

Have tested the continuity of the Green Spot Stat, all fine.
Have tested the continuity of the other Stats, including the one in the front door opening, all fine.
Have tested the continuity of the heater, all fine.
Have traced all the wires through to the timer and tested. All fine.
The problem must lie in the timer.

I agree, maybe time for the engineer.
