Hi, the dryer is plugged in, the water tray is empty and the condensor is free from fluff.
When the door is closed, the dryer light comes on and stays on. Nothing else happens. when the door is opened, the light turns off.
The start / stop button and cycle selector have no affect. No other lights are on,
    Thanks for your time,steve 😥

hi, i’ve managed to get it to work, however i’m not sure how.

i took off the lid and looked at the brush to the drum (worn but a lot of life left) i then went around the electric connections to make sure they had a good connection.

i then plugged it in to see if it worked and to my surprise it did. i did notice however that there is a brown wire with a ring connector that is attached to nothing. it travels from the dial electrics to the left ,towards the bracket that holds the brush . i’m guessing its an earth wire? ❗

anyway, im happy now , steve 😀

There is a brown wire that should connect the sensor brush the the dryness module connection 6. The dryer will not owrk correctly if this is adrift. Also the drying light coming on without motor action can be caused by a faulty heater relay on the dryness module, a fairly expensive part. 😥

Is there a wire of any kind attached to the copper brush assembly?

    Jim.
