Machine is a Hotpoint TDC60P Condensor Tumble Dryer.
The water reservoir fills as normal during operation but the “Empty Water” light now fails to illuminate when the container is full & the reservoir then overfills & leaks from the base of the machine.
Can anyone enlighten me as to the best way to access the float chamber microswitch as I understand this particular part can be difficult to get at?
I’ve had the machine partially disassembled in recent years to access the electronics module but have never needed to strip out any other major parts so any guidance would be welcome.
