    Hi,

I have recently just replaced the thermostats and the heater element on the back of this appliance. After setting the control to cupboard dry the dryer came on and the element heated up but only one coil heated up, not sure if this matters. After around 30/40 mins of drying clothes it finished its cycle and removed clothes.

Now that I have come to put the second load in the drying orange light remains on once door has been closed and no heat is coming from element. I have tried selecting cooler setting, in fact I’ve tried all of them. I have looked through some forums on here and a lot seems to point out the relay on the pcb? I just wanted some more advice before I start clarting on with things. If anyone has came across a similar problem even a solution would be champion.

    Thanks

    Barrie.

Only one half of the element is used for most programmes but it is not a good idea to run the machine with the back off.

Drying light staying on is a sign of relay failure.

Thanks for that. It was a temporary run to check element was heating up. It wasn’t on a full cycle with back off. Are the orange blocks on the pcb the relays?

There is a thread and pictures from member of the public who managed to repair his module but I cannot find it. :clown:

    Relays are as follows.

    1x RT314024 and 2x RT114024 required.
