hi anyone know why the tumble dryer does not work at all. There is power to the appliance but it just does nothing, i’ve checked door micro switch, heater, stats,motor, cap etc it looks like it may be the control board , what do you think ? thanks for your advice . paul.

You say you’ve check the stats?…how about the one in the front drum surround?

Yes i have checked the exhaust stat and that is ok. The only thing on the appliance that works is the filter light will come on if you open the door and go out again when you shut the door apart from this the appliance is dead. thanks.

Then its likely the circuit board is the problem 😕

The live supply comes from the door switch to the circuit board the through the exhaust stat before it reaches the element. Therefore by that reckoning, if you have no live feed to the exhaust stat yet there is to the circuit board, that confirms it!!!
