Hotpoint TDL60

Hi guys, Help!

Been to a TDL60 tumble dryer won’t start. Start switch ok, Door switch seems ok, Have tried a new dryness module. Still no go.

Any ideas please?

p.s. not having a wiring diagram difficult to do indepth fault finding

That’s the greatest weakness on this model in that the door probe in time doesn’t quite operate the switch. So a new switch assembly or mod to it should cure? Short out the door microswitch first to confirm my suspicion. 😉

Thanks Martin, Tested door switch ok, front stat ok. With door open clean filter light illuminates. Any more ideas please?

its got ta be something simple your missing the wiring isnt to diffucult

On deeper inspection everything pointed to selector switch. As none in stock at connections, decided to dismantle switch. Cleaned and reassembled, refitted and turned on hey presto! it worked 😀
