Hotpoint TDWSF83B turned off while drying

Hi all,

My machine above, today turned itself off after about 40 mins of drying. The water was quite full was empty when it started. Now it wont even turn on. I have checked the plus socket and all fine and replaced the fuse.
Rang Hotpoint as only 2 mths old was a replacement for my old machine that was on the risk list. They set it will need to be reset.

I have tried to find something to press and failed. Is this a “common” problem, and does anyone know how to. They are due to come out week on Monday !! and may charge me if it is a “user” error.

As this is a very new machine and possibly a rebadged Whirlpool we don’t have any ‘reset’ information or for that matter know if it is a common fault.

Had the load been spun correctly first or was it very wet?

Just had a look at the parts diagrams, it is a Whirlpool dryer, no sign of a user accessible reset button.
