I’m in need of a timer for a Hotpoint BD42SS – Industrial code 07316030000.
There are quite a few different versions for this model but if anybody can help, it would really be appreciated.
Thanks for that, where do I find the date code on the identification plate, is it in the serial no.
The sticker is a bit worn but i think it says 610270060.
God knows why they have to make it so difficult, why so many variations for one model no?
It used to be the first two numbers of the serial number, 61 would make it Jan 2007 but your machine was first produced in 2002 and changed to the SS.Mk2, then the SS.Mk2T and finally the SS/2. :rolls:
01 instead of 61 would be Jan 2002 which would be spot on. :con:
Sorry to bring this up again but i’ve just been looking at the identity plate on my computer, blown up and the first number of the serial no. is definitely 6. The 1 is a bit vague but it does start with 6.
What does this mean? Do i need C00199539
Thanks
No idea TBH, I can’t see the 42SS model running for five years without alteration but who knows, a real minefield especially given the cost of the part. 🙁
