    Hi,

    Tonight our tumble drier has died, it’s almost certainly the door switch which i’ve removed and checked out of circuit and seems dead, how much is the replacement?

    Also, what’s the easiest way to fit it, does the front come off?

    Part number 1701448, about a fiver. Can be done from the top if you are careful, just enough room to reach down. How did you manage to take it off to test it?

    mains plug removed of course. 😉 😆

    Very awkward though, i’ve got massive arms and hands…

    Just cleaned the switch and all of the connections and it now appears to be working!

    Getting it back was a (insert a word of your choice here!) though.
