Tennants just moved in reported to landlord leaking washing machine. I go and find Hotpoint top loader WT400 and a puddle. Although I have done a lot of slimline top loaders over the years this is my first Indesit type. Get the side off an run the programme and horriried to see water pouring through the door interlock, surprising the module has not blown. Spend the next 30 minutes trying the work our how and why the water is getting into the interlock. As a last resort I fire up the laptop and start up partfinder to look at a diagram. Soon becomes obvious that there is no where to put detergent, not that I missed a soap dispenser, it just looks like it never had one. Dispenser clips into the underside of the lid and previous tennant must have ran off with ot or thrown it away leaving me and the new tennant non the wiser about it ever existing! Item number 22 on partfinder if anyone is interested.
