ParticipantI went to this machine today. Customer reported no drying. On inspection the condensing cartridge was completely blocked. This was cleared but still no heat. Checked the heater, thermostats and thermistor beside the stats, all good readings. Checked the stat/thermistor at the front and got a reading from that. I now suspect the module to the right hand side unless anyone can tell me different? Is there a way to reset the module. The customer said she got an error code of EB3 but that code I couldn’t get to display that.

ParticipantThe tumble dryer does everything apart from heat. The water base collection tank was checked with only a little water in it. I did try it with wet cloths in. If it is the module it comes unprogrammed unless you can advise me? Regards Taff

Moderatormanaged to look up the manual and cant see any way forward. Yes you are correct these boards are blank and last time I needed to fit a similar board I posted it to EMW who programmed it.
I take it no fault codes are coming up
from the fault codes the only one I can see that should come up is F04 this is listed as “rear NTC” and solutions are “No rise in temperature detected: Check Heater circuit including Cycling
Thermostat, One-Shot Thermostat, Heater and wiring. Also check Rear NTC Thermistor Open or Short Circuit. Check Rear NTC (attached to heater Frame) and attached wiring and module connections including relevant module connections”

ParticipantHave you checked the float? Bottom Right (viewing from behind, where the pump sits). These machine won’t heat if it thinks the water collection tray is full. I’ve seen the floats disintegrate and cause problems before.

ParticipantAnd of course if the pump impella gives up the ghost (Sits in a dry condition for a week or two – blocked chamber = no moisture)…
