    Hi, looking for part number (or part) front bearing seal for a Hotpoint tumble dryer model is tdl30p and date code is June 2000! It’s the one without plastic front bearings.

    Seal is a C00097638, if you can still get one that is, may be some old stock lying about.

    If the metal lip of the front vent duct is worn away then it’s BER to be honest. There is/was a complete repair kit for these, did several a few years back. As it involves a complete drum, vent duct, stats, fan etc it will be more than the dryer is worth now. 🙁

    Luckily they stopped using it as the felt started to hang out, drum is still in good condition, so worth a punt if I can get the bearing felt, found the part number given on Qualtex so hope that the one! Any ideas as to gluing it in place or are the already sticky?

    They do come with a peel off strip to reveal the sticky side if my memory is correct.
