    Hotpoint Tumble Dryer VTD60 – Squeaking & Grinding noises!!?

    Hi.
    My tumble dryer is making terrible squeaking, Scraping, Grinding noises!!!
    Sometimes it can be continuous… sometimes it calms down after 10-15 minutes – but the noises are still there.

    Does anyone know a solution to this ❓

    The noises are driving me NUTS and I can’t afford to buy a new dryer at the moment.

    Main drum shaft bearing failure is the usual cause. New spindle and support bearing kit required to sort as a rule. Other factors are front support bearers and general worn out crappiness. All normal stuff for these tin boxes…….!
