Replaced air duct assembly and belt (working ok prior to this, albeit ‘a bit noisy’) before belt broke.

Anyhoo … runs fine for twenty seconds, heats, then F03 fault appears. It continues to run with all lights flashing but no heat. This even happens on cool setting.

One thermistor on duct,2 holes for thermistors, but one blanked-off with plate. There is a thermistor in between stats on heater. I presume? this has been repositioned by the nice designers at hotpoint from the front duct blank?

Fault f03 on most hotpoints indicate front sensor.

The one on the duct reads 0.5M ohms approx, and according to ‘a thing I read on the net’ this seems fine. Wires to pcb are ok.

Never measured the one between the heater stats yet ( by that time the cust was complaining about costs etc, and I wanted my tea)

Anybody throw any light on this one. I dont want to start throwing more new parts on it than required.
