hotpoint tvfs83 dryer

hi all went to this dryer this morning,both stats gone changed them and worked for some time heating, now heat gone again,thanks richard

would need more info to look it up as the above narrows it to 20 machines

have the stats gone again ?

still have to assume a few things

1 that the model is TVFS83CGPUK there are other similar machines and you dont give me the commercial code to double check

if above is correct then the stat kit should have been C00112196

did this fail while you were watching ? if no could the cap be getting weak stopping it revolving ?

hi dave thanks no we went and 4hrs later it failed,i suspect thermistor overheating.is that possible to knock out the new stats,regards richard arg.

the thermistors both front and rear control the temp both leaving the heater and leaving at the front of the dryer
so yes they can be a source of failure

assume since its a vented dryer you have checked the vent to outside
