Hotpoint TVM562G

Been asked to attend this dryer, but its about 12 miles away want to go prepared, possible spares etc.

Fault reported is on pressing start button there is a ‘clunk’ then no further action. Asked customer to check for heat but there is none.

Any ideas
Do these machines have a relay or start module?

stats may have tripped so no heat

capacitor may have gone so no motor just a faint buzz that customer may not hear

i would take stat kit an cap and take it from there

stats and cap sound good, but am not familiar with this model. I think these ones will be just coming out of warrantys etc.

wondered about start relay or module?

Got to go and see one Monday. No heat. Will any of the old kits I have in stock (green, white, red, what have you?) fit or do I have to splash out?

Time to raid the piggybank. 😀

C00112196 if the DBK heater is fitted, C00116101 if the BLAISI heater fitted.
