    Hi
    Hotpoint TVM570p tumble dryer starts and counts down minutes and switches off at end of cycle but does not reverse. I’m thinking “timer” needs replacing???
    Is this correct

    very likely

    to you have 2 wires going to the capacitor from the timer. the timer send a live to wire 1 for one direction or a live to the other to reverse it
