Have recently installed my Hotpoint ultima 61 into a new kitchen. The machine has been in storage for over a year.
When a prog is selected timer displays ok but machine does not fill,on opening the door the sounds of water filling can be heard but nothing,
    Any advice welcome.
    Thanks

That sound you hear won’t be water filling but in fact the drain pump running I suspect? 😉

That then means the ‘anti-flood device’ has tripped? Water in the bottom plate may be the problem or during storage the polystyrene float has got jammed for some reason? 😕

Your machine is the same as a Bosch dishwasher and searching the various threads on Bosch dishwashers with flooded baseplates will help you decide what to do?

Access is severely limited and for starters involves removing the lid and side panels to at least take a look. 😉
