Hotpoint ultima 1200 wd71 dryer problems

My machine washes fine. Yet when I use the dryer the clothes just get steamed (very hot) and not dried? this is worrying as the machine drains, spins and goes through all it’s cycles.

Cold valve solenoid failure – it’s not supplying cold water for the condensing process. P/no is 168945 – email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for ordering if you plan to do this yourself. or check the link below for a UKW engineer in your area.

Power off of investigating further.

Very easy to check without even removing the top or back panels, at the top, back, dead centre of the machine is a small black plastic thimble shaped cover, prise that off, switch on dryer, you should get a small jet of water coming out of the nozzle. If there is no water then follow post#2 🙂
