Hotpoint Ultima WD865 – Water pouring from Soap Drawer

Over the last few months I hav had water pouring out of the soap drawer as the machine drains water. I have checked that no pipes are blocked.

My only find was that the soap drawer is slightly distorted from using the machine on the dry cycle – the drying cycle doesn’t do anything, clothes always come out as wet as when they went in!

Any suggestions would be great…….. 😡

It’s highly likely that the sump hose at the bottom of the drum is blocked and needs removing to check?

Do be very careful, ensure the machine is disconnected from the mains, don’t get any water on the motor or the electronics. If you are the least bit unsure how to proceed I suggest calling a local engineer to sort it for you (see link below). 😉
