From reading other posts, I think this may spell the end of my washing machine, but would be grateful for advice as to whether it’s worth fixing.
The machine 5 and a half years old now, so out of the 5 year parts guarantee.
At the end of the cycle, it gets to 1 minute remaining and then carries on agitating and not spinning – for ever it seems. I can reset it so it stops the programme, allowing me to choose the spin programme which does spin the clothes and does complete the cycle.
I did try to put it on a 30 degree wash (instead of my usual 40) to see if that made it through to the end, but instead there was a bang and error message F-07 appeared. When the error message cleared I put it back on the normal 40 degree cycle and then on the spin cycle.
Is there anything on the machine that can be fixed, or does its age mean that it’s best replaced?
