Hotpoint Ultima “with flexipower” 45 Cm – F05

Good morning all and I hope someone will be able to help.

The dishwasher shows error code F05, which I realise is for “dishwasher can’t pump water out and is full of water”. However, machine is perfectly drained.

When I start a cycle I can clearly hear the dishwasher pumping the water in for a couple of minutes, and when the F05 appears and I open the door the dishwasher is perfectly empty with no water on the base, all drained out beautifully. Therefore, I suspect that the pump is actually working just fine?

Can someone help me on this?

Can you give us a proper model number?

Usually 05 fault codes relate to the main circulation pump, not the drain pump.
