ParticipantHi to all , my bro has the above machine that he said wasn’t washing correctly … on watching it go through a 90 whites cycle ive noticed it only lets in about 3-4ints of water … I then checked all wash cycles and it only lets in 3-4 pints of water … on a rinse and spin it fills to the regular level .
So I removed the sump , pump , drain hose and washed all clear , and checked the pressure switch and pipe and refitted to the same result … so I was wondering which pot to toggle on the pressure switch to allow in more water for the wash ?
Any help appreciated

these machines are supposed to take in less water on the wash. fill it up with no clothes in it and the water will be about 2 inches deep in the drum. the theory is less water less to heat and therefore less energy
you need to be more specific about your fault. not washing properly is not enough. check the heater is working also check filter as if machine does not drain properly it will affect the wash quality

I fully understand your point on the water level but this isn’t barely making the rim of the drum (empty), when pumping out ive just measured 8 pints from an estimated 3-4 in the first post but this isnt enough clearly … all pipes are clear and flushed clean and the heater works as should but definatly not enough water as its not even dissolving the powder

The very bottom of the drum were the paddles attach ? Maybe 5 mm deep is visible in the drum itself then it continues into the wash cycle with out loosing in anymore? On a rinse it easily reaches the bottom of the door glass .

does sound a bit low
if you look at the top of the machine you will find a switch with a small plastic tub coming off it. this switch detects the water height. it could be this switch or follow tube to bottom of machine and check to see if the bell at the bottom is full of slime
you can adjust these switches but be careful which screw you move and if you do remember how to get it back how you startedDave
