    “Hello again iadom”,

Thanks very much for your very quick reply Today and for confirming that even a very slight `Doming` of the Capacitor means that it has failed – I really appreciate it.

I must have been writing my other message about the way that Parcels can be treated when You posted it.

Thank You very much for your help with my Washing Machine Fault.

I will now Order the reconditioned PCB from EMW – I just HOPE that it arrives undamaged !

I realise that they send out many PCB`s Daily and I guess that they are `well packed` – so I will try to `think positive` about receiving My Order / PCB fully in tact – and that my Posting of the existing / exchange PCB to them goes equally well.

    Thanks again iadom.

    Regards,

    Chris

    “Hello again iadom”,

The reconditioned PCB from EMW was delivered in tact – the box was a good one and surprisingly [to Me] there was not a mark on it and it had not been squashed / dented at all – after my previous experiences I have been `Lucky` with a very Fragile item in the Post.

I fitted the PCB and as I expected after the information that I received from You the Washing Machine now works correctly again.

Thank You very much for your Help with this – I really appreciated your knowledge and `remote diagnosis` of the fault.

I did not want to carry out the replacement of the PCB myself to save money or because I did not want to get a Washing Machine Engineer to do it – it was because I find it almost impossible to have any time off work to be at Home to wait in and have an Engineer do the Repair.

As I am a Heating Engineer and well used to Electrical Safety when working on Gas Appliances / replacing PCB`s so I felt that IF I could get a fairly sure opinion of what Component / PCB [I wondered about the Display PCB] was causing the `All Lights Flashing` problem I should be well capable of replacing it.

Thanks again iadom – You and EMW have enabled Me to carry out the PCB replacement on an Evening to suit my work commitments and have my Washing Machine back in operation again.

    Regards,

    Chris
