hotpoint =unhelpfull

I will cut to the chase here

order motor for vtd00p from cdsl
arrives incorrect
order another (as they have two listed on system)
that one is incorrect
i contact hotpoint but because i have no account can’t give me part number 👿 just sums up some manufactures as they won’t give out any info.
ok you say,i don’t have the parts disk it serves me right ❗

For your info, machines made b/4 serial no: 60127.000 have a 358 Motor & Cradle fitted and that is Part No C00143146.

Machines after serial no: 60127.001 have a 368 Vented Motor fitted and that is Part No: C00195021.

Best to fit a 7.5 or 8 mf capacitor to either one by the way. 😉

martin i thank you for your helpfull post,perhaps you should work for hotpoint,you have given me the info i need.hotpoint told me on the phone it was a type 368 but no part number.

if you were near junc 13 m4 on saturday i’d buy you a drink 😉
