Hotpoint User Guide

Hi guys, just in the hope one of you may either have a pdf of either the service manual or the user guide for a Hotpoint Aquarius WM24P washing machine. As our eldest son finally decided to quit the nest and set up with his girlfriend, I thougth I would help out with a couple of second hand items to kickstart their home together. I picked up the washing machine from our local age concern shop, it was supposed to include the book, but when I fitted it, no bok, they now say they dont have it after all. As the machine control is all symbols, and not being a washing machine man, I now have a rather heavy piece of scrap in a third floor flat, HELP.

I recognise the laundry mark symbols but that is all, I certainly don’t understand them, and the Hotpoint web site does not recognise the model number,

if this is the timer knob the symbols are the temperatures
no lines under the tub for cotton one line under the tub for synthetics 2 lines for woolens. A showerhead for rinse and a spiral for spin.

You can download a WM22 user guide from Hotpoint which is near enough I would think. 💡
