ParticipantI’m after the pulley wheel on this dryer. Has completely collapsed due to the tension on it I reckon. Anyone know the number for it?

Just pivot the pulley on the inboard screw, then lever it down with the belt around it and catch the second screw on its thread. Doddle.

Ta gents.
This pulley seems a little…er…flimsy to carry the tension don’t it.
What are they thinking about with these direct drive arrangements when the pulleys were fine for years. A spray of wd40 😉 every now and then and they were ok for years.
I think Indypoint should buy Costcutters out too , it would be more bl**dy apt 👿Tony C

If you have a X245677 jockey pulley, this will fit, I have removed the pulley + fitted it to a CTD00P- pulley identical.

Thought about this when I did a belt change on one of these last week. The pulley bracket will not pivot on the machine I did, it has two screws either end but is hooked under the motor casing in the middle as well,so will not come upwards away from the motor if you only remove the nearest screw.Jim.

Yes, you have to slacken the inboard one enough to let it move. It does work and you don’t even need some damn non-available special tool. 😀

Going back to the early vented hotpoint dryer TL range these were the first direct drive models still have slots in base to fit jockey/arm change belt to 1700442 bingo back to a brilliant dryer
