Hotpoint VTD00 tumble dryer

Hi guys

Have had a few Hotpoint vented tumble dryers recently where customers are saying the dryer is not getting hot enough.

I put a new timer on a VTD00 last week as the old one had fallen to bits, but the customer has said it doesn’t seem to be getting hot enough.

Checked stats and heater – all ok.

The vent is clear.

Any ideas?

check the front and rear seals, the air may be escaping before it enters the drum from the heater.
