    Hi guys.

    Great forum here 🙂

Well im hoping i can get some help.

I fitted a new belt to the Hotpoint VTD20 dryer, seems all went well, till i put it back together and, nothing lol.

There is a black, and a blue wire with spade ends, going nowhere…. I think i may have managed to pull these off in the belt fitting process.

Thing is, i have NO idea where these are to go. There is some relay/switch on the base of the dryer. With a few ‘spare’ spade slots at it, but not sure if its for these or not. Dont wanna go blowing it up haha.

I can get photos if needed, and i appreciate any help given.

Thing is, parents just got back from dominican republic after 2 weeks, so they want alot of drying done.

    Thanks

    Colin

cant advise you im afraid, forum rules and all that

theres a pcb at the base of the machine, thats a good place to start, although since theres nothing, and that wire must be a neutral since its blue – a good place to start would be where the cable comes in and work back

best i can do im afraid

    Hi

Well i have put the blue on, now i get light and tick tick from timer when on. But no spin.
    So only black spare now.
i put black onto each available slot and Popped the fuse in plug each time.

    Thanks
