    Hi,
    I’m in need of a mains cable with the supressor for a WMF940.(Short to earth as usual)
    Masterparts list a mains cable part no.C00271810 but it doesnt mention a supressor and theres no photos. Same with Qualtex and Connect.
    I fit the same part but to a top loader a couple of weeks ago and it looks identical, part no. c00119257.

    Can anybody confirm the correct part number or will the top loader on fit.

    Has this lead got the moulded plug attached?, if so try cutting the plug off and fitting a new plug as I’ve found that the short is usually in the plug and not the suppressor/filter.

    No it’s defo the supressor mate. The live connection is all burnt.

    C00271810 is the correct part. 🙂

    Cheers for that Jim. As expected it’s out of stock.
    Just out of interest does anybody know what the difference is between the part nos.
    Like I say , I could swear they look identical.

    Strangely enough C00119257 is not even listed as a part for a top loader, only several Aqualtis models and two or three other front loaders. :con:

    Yeah, I know confusing but WTL500 comes up with that part no. on qualtex.

    Hmm, correct one for WTL500 is C00111940 which is listed at Masterpart and not superceded.

    If you look on Qualtex it says that for part number C00111940 NOW USE C00119257 – SUPPLY CABLE UK 3X1 L=1950MM.
    God know whats happening!! Ive ordered one of each, just have to wait for the back order to come for the correct part number.
