    yep

obviously, check the fan motor (a) isnt loose on the condenser, and catching on the tub when its runnin or (b) the wires to the motor itself tend to breakaround where theyre cable tied to the heater box

of course, theres always the cold valve to the condenser, thats the usual one tbh

Also check the wiring harness where it is lashed to the motor if it has an FHP motor. The plate on the front of the motor often slices through the wiring there. Bend the edge of the plate back with pliers.

of course it could be the customer overloading and dryer overheating???

Could also be switches burning inside timer, very common on this unit producing voltage surges. Try another timer and wait 3 weeks before returning ex unit so you are sure it has solved the problem.

Are we talking dryer timer or main hybrid timer Tony? I can honestly say that I have never, ever had to change either timer to cure this fault. 😕

Hi, Thankyou all for your help on this one.
The only thing i found was an orange wire tied to the motor block had chaffed. everything else is fine. The customers husband did say his wife maybe overloading the machine. He said he will mention it to her, when the time is right.( Rather him than me)
    Much appreciated.

TBH, after customer misuse that is by far the most common cause of TOC’s constantly tripping that I see.

Jim, I am talking about the hybrid unit. The dryer power circuit switches inside the timer burn more than any others.

Thanks for that Tony, never seen it myself but worth considering if all else checks out. 8)

Hi, Thankyou all for your help. Unfortunately the thermal fuse has gone o/c again. within 30 mins of switching the dryer on with only a couple of towels in the drum?
    Thanks.
