It works perfectly beautiful wash and dry, except very noisy. When machine program is started, there is delay of a few seconds then the noise starts and its very loud growling noise Is it the pump becasue I think the drums not turning at this point. It never used to do this! June 26, 2006 at 7:48 pm #180118 Dave_ConwayParticipant Re: Hotpoint Washer Dryer – Noisy There are two pumps on this model, the drain pump is here in our shop@ http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=394 The circualtion pump is a bit more at £40 odd. You’ll need to check which one has failed and it may be the latter as that one runs almost continuously when there is water in the drum. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please if the recirculation pump is required 🙂 We are only assuming that it is one of the pumps of course 😉 Dave.
