My Hotpoint washer dryer has become increasingly noisy on spin. When I removed the top cover I have noticed that a bracket has sheared. The bracket is located centrally (top down view) and supports what I presume is the heater assembly as it is covered in that thermal insulating foil stuff. It has four main bolt points and two have sheared on the left hand side, viewed from the front. I need help identifying this part so I can order another, replacement looks easy enough, but I have had no success finding an online parts catalogue.

Any help would be a appreciated.

Model, Hotpoint Aquarious Washer Dryer WD64P

PS any suggestions for a reliable replacement would be good, I am sick of opening this heap up, motor cx, condenser unit, mounting bolt repair to name just a few!! 🙁

Part is a 1600514, an e-mail to shop@ukwhitegoods.co.uk is all you need.

The best suggestion of all is, don’t buy a washer/dryer.

Failing that look at mid to upper priced Bosch, Siemens, Neff. If money is no object then go for a Miele.
